EPR and taxi fuel

Hello,
the EPR does not work correct. For example: During take off the EPR
stops at 1.64 also in climb.
Another problem is the taxi fuel, the normal taxi fuel is 300 to 400 kg.
But the Cs 757 use 600 to 700 for taxi. Can I change this situation?

kind regards
Sascha

Hi Sascha,

I use a CS 757 version 4.x (FSX) but I think both controls are similars. So, I would like to know:

Do you usually select TO/GA mode at Thrust Mode Select Panel, located at right side of EICAS Display, before take-off?

CS B-757's maximum EPR's limits are:

TAKE OFF/GO AROUND (TO/GA) > 1.79
CLIMB (CLB) > 1.66
CLIMB (CLB 1) > 1.60
CLIMB 2 (CLB 2) > 1.53
CONTINUOUS (CON) > 1.66
CRUISE (CRZ) > 1.66

Maximum allowable EPR is computed as a function of altitude, temperature, speed, and service bleeds.

The selected mode is showed at EICAS display, for example, CLB.

Fuel consumption during taxi depends of distance between the gate and runway threshold. If you are parked near the runway threshold your consumption will be low. Otherwise will be higher.

Best regards,

Pinatubo.

Thanks for answer.
So I select TO/GA with 1.79 for take off, I press the EPR button but I get only 1.60, also in climb 1.60 with CLB mode.

Hi Sascha,

Did you delete all 757's registry data using regedit.exe before reinstall? If you did, let's try another way.

Try to find CS B-757 default flights. Mine is at LOCAL DISK > PROGRAM FILES (x86) > MICROSOFT GAMES > MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X > CAPTAIN SIM > 757 > FLIGHTS > 757-200 CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF (KSEA).FLT

Double click the file. Windows will ask you to choose a program to open it. Browse up to find MSFS > OK

Create a new flight from KSEA to another airport and follow all steps as you usually do, entering all data at FMC.

Don't forget to check if Flight Director F/D is ON.

Tell us if the problem persists.

Good luck,

Pinatubo.
