All-flying tailplane - reversed trim control? (Read 2267 times)

	I don't know that much about aerodynamics, but it seems to me that the trim control on the all-flying tailplane is reversed. The aircraft responds correctly to trim control inputs, but visually the tailplane clearly appears to move in the wrong direction, i.e., trim nose up the tailplane leading edge rises and vice versa. Does the B-52 also have elevator trim tabs which counters the all-flying tailplane? Any experts out there? Simdad

	The tailplane is animated backwards. The B-52's, like any other aircraft with a moveable stabilizer, moves leading edge UP to trim nose down, and leading edge DOWN to trim nose down. There are no elevator trim tabs, and the elevators themselves are too small to counter the stabilizer at higher airspeeds and extreme angles of deflection. Gary
