Hello,

I sometimes get bad FPS with the 707, but on the 767 you can disable window reflections and that vastly improves performance for me.  ACE doesn't have that option for the 707; is there any way to do it manually?

Hi Captain Mike

The ACE that comes with v2.4 has an option to turn the window reflections off or on. What version of the 727 are you using?

Oops!  I totally meant to ask this about the 707, NOT the 727.  I don't even have the 727!  That's what I get for posting while exhausted.

Boy do I feel sheepish.  I don't know what I was thinking.

That's OK. It was in the 727 Captain Forum and you said the 727 so I assumed you meant the 727. Grin

Hence my embarassment!

So, now that this is moved to the right place and we're referring to the 707, does anyone know about removing the window reflections from the 707?

Windows removal won't make any difference. It's just one texture sheet. (we got 20+ in there!) BTW, textures (once loaded) do not affect FPS at all.
Moreover, each texture map is a piece of art. Abusing them in any way (size reducing or removal) is a crime  Smiley
We'd highly recommend to upgrade the computer and enjoy the product at its best.
