Not able to set FLT # via Aircraft.cfg file

Hello,

Is there a way to be able to update the Flight Number in the "atc_flight_number=" section of the Aircraft.cfg file? I'm able to do it with the 767 but not with the 757. Sure looks like CaptainSim 757 is saving this info somewhere else.

Thanks

I don't know why you can't change the flight number in the aircraft.cfg, I can and have. Another way to do it is when selecting the aircraft, click on the DETAILS button and change the flight number in there.

Hope this helps.

Mark,

Thanks for the reply... that's unfortunately the way I do it (via DETAILS). I normally edit the CFG files and jump right into the simulation, but for some reason and only with the CS 757 I can't seem to get FSX to recognize the flight numbers I put on the CFG file.
