Carrier Landing/Takeoff (It is possible :P)

So everyone that owns this must have seen the videos on youtube of people taking off and landing on carriers with this. I use an addon to place carriers (default FSX ones), and have no problem landing (This c-130 has beast reverse thrust Cheesy), but the real problem is taking off. I've tried dozens of flaps settings and everything, but I still need to get to 100 knots before the deck runs out, and I only get to around 70-80. Is there anything that can give me that extra boost to pull off before falling into the ocean?

Thanks!!!

JATO is a visual effect and does not apply additional thrust.

Carrier has to be moving into the wind. You will then have no problems.

you could try this
1. revers c-130 right to the far end of carrier till your tires are just about to go over the edge
2.flaps set to 30
3.throttle up to full power then release brakes push down on stick until last minute then just let it go after c-130 leaves the deck give a little pull on the stick just enough to get nose up and not to lose to much speed

i did this 5 times and i got it airborn 3 times

I've done all of these except for pushing down until the last second, so I'll try that when I get home to see if it works.

Also, does each variation have a different weight? Could any of these be easier or harder to takeoff of the carrier on?

Also, your C-130 fuel tanks should not be full.

Ok so I dumped my fuel for about 10-20 seconds and then I put flaps to 44% and set the carrier moving into the wind and was able to take off. When it was not moving I couldn't take off, and when I next try I will make the wind heading towards the carrier while it is not moving to see if that works as well.

for carriers try here
http://www.taskforcefsx.com/aicarriers.html

the ai carriers 2 allow's you to place carriers like the Nimitz and battle ships directly in front off you
by using the tool provided

this is a good tool if you just want landings and take offs in random places you just can't start from one

one note though the carriers do not record in fs recorder and dose not  save position if you land on one and save flight

you would have to make your own ai route up for that

if you had a install exe it should install to were your main fsx folder is and the boats will automatically install to sim objects boats
and it will install a tool to use in flight to call up carriers
