Why not just create a flight with the default MSFS Flight Planner and fly a route that way while we wait?

Because I'm a vintage aviation nostalgic and a bit of a masochist too. If I wanted to do that I'd fly Airbus or 757/767. I want to manually set up Doppler legs and VOR frequencies, I want to simulate flying the 707 the way it was flown with the nav equipment it had back then. I want to be able to miss the mark by hundreds of miles because I miscalculated something and ditch in the middle of the Pacific instead of Hawaii.

Cheers

If the update comes out today I will say 'Thank You Captain Sim' but I don't think I will have to do that.

Well I'm just gonna come in here every couple of hours until the update is released.

Oh wait. I already do that WITHOUT waiting for an update! Shocked Cheesy Grin

Markoz, one more to go and you're in the 4 digits club Smiley
So far, and as a far more unregular member here, enjoyed your posts.

Lets hope, we can celebrate your 1000th and the update on the same day. Every time I load the 707 I think "beautiful thing, but could use some tuning".

Glad to read another one asking for the INS to be installed in the VC. So far I'm cheating with the double unit installation and another DME2 readout, to get the INS correctly aligned in flight.

Of course, the additional liveries would be welcome too.
Another nice point when viewed closely are the numerous users reporting all kinds of bugs to make the to do list for Captain Sim complete and allow them to work on the solutions.

Wow... jaw-dropping... You have just made the best virtual cabin interior ever for a flightsim. That lounge-bar, wow! And all with superb frame-rates. Just great, thanks!!!

To all the folks at CS - Wonderful job, thanks!

I really enjoy these fine products.

P.S. The lounge bar was great, but did not last long.

OK, Still 120 seconds to go until we enter October here. I just clicked the download button and it is going to take a few more minutes before it's complete, so even though it won't be installed before October, you did meet the September deadline as far as I'm concerned. My apologies for ever doubting you would.

THANK YOU CS !

Cheers
