How do i turn of the FMC? (Read 5236 times)

	I'm trying to start up cold and dark but my FMC is still on!

	Try using the pre-saved captain sim cold n dark flight that comes with the package. It should be available under saved flights.

	press shift+m, you might have to press it twice

	Are you starting with the default Cessna 172 and shutting off the engine, battery, ignition, alternator, lights, etc? After doing that, then load the 757. When I do this, it results in the aircraft loading with everything off except for the FMC, and pressing shift+m shuts it off for me.

	My suggestion is to create a keyboard combination for the Avionics Master Switch. I use CTRL+SHIFT+A and that works every time for me. I have also found that if the engines are running I can press CTRL+E (default keyboard combination for engine start) as that automatically turns on the Avionics Master Switch. Off course you probably don't want to start the engines just to get the FMC to turn on. Hope this helps. Mark
