ACE weight not showing correctly

Hi, this is what I try to do, first run ACE what I want is fly with full passengers and cargo so for 752 this come to 172 passengers @ 180 lbs each = 30'960 Lbs total pax load weight then add all the cargo which is 9x3000 lbs containers = 27'000 Lbs total cargo weight for a total load weight of 30'960+27'000 = 57'960 Lbs. Then I save in ACE this load and have specified already in ACE the Tool tab the correct FS.EXE directory. Now I fire FSX and load the 752, when I go to fuel and weight balance I see only 6 entries of containers instead of 9 and load by container is only 1000 lbs instead of 3000 lbs. The passengers numbers is only about 145 and load by passenger is only 150 lbs instead of 180 Lbs. Result is an unloaded aircraft, this can be corrected by modifying the passenger weight and some guessing to have a total load weight which matches the ACE figure, but the question is why ACE do not change the aircraft config correctly ?

Thx

Hi fowler.

In my ACE it shows the passengers weights are 150lbs each and the weights are 1000lbs each for the cargo. These are the same as shown in the aircraft.cfg.
After I modify how many passengers and cargo, my aircraft.cfg changes to match what I changed in the ACE, i.e. amount of passengers @150lbs each and the amount of cargo @ 1000lbs each. So all my numbers match up with the ACE.

Hi Mark,  thanks for feedback, obviously my ACE has different settings and I don't know why. Well the cargo you can change within ACE lbs but then if you do it wouldn't change the cfg file as well as passenger you can't change the defaut weight in ACE. (Mine is 180 Lbs by default altough it shows only 150 lbs in the aircraft) Maybe we have different versions of ACE but still not sure why the change in ACE wouldn't be picked up by the aircraft. I would be curious if you change your cargo defaut weight in ACE, then save, then see if aircraft is picking up the new revised container weight ?

Hi all

Sorted it, if you start FSSim. at gate with any aircraft other than Captain sim 757-200, then run ACE and set for 100 PAX ie weight 15000 lbs, no cargo, then change aircraft to 757-200 it is then loaded, to check goto fuel and payload then payload you will see 15850, thats 15000 PAX plus 850 crew PILOTS 170 each 340 and crew of 510 making 15850.

Note all 757 aircraft saved at other gates around the world will change too , to new loading.

Hope this works for you all

regards

Derek
