What you have to remember is these and the files I am replacing are all my old work and are of various standards from when I first started repainting to my latest repaints.

I will not be updating any textures as this is very time consuming and I am concentrating on the UHDT work which is extremely hour intensive to create.

Sorry

By the way I have an AAL texture but for some reason this happens

Anyway I can fix that?

Just add "Alpha channel" (in Photoshop for eg.) and everything will be fine.

Ok right. So after an hour and a half of trying to add Alpha Channel in CS3 we get:

Now, its not as easy for me and a friend as it is for you, clearly. So if it is as easy as you would like us to believe, do you think you fix it for us? That would be great.

Yep.  The Icelander pack is the next one I'm working on.

Just to keep the FSX community informed, I wont be uploading any of the FSX versions of my repaints are they are being given the UHDT treatment by the team at McPhat Studios.

There should be no problem of adding "alpha". By the way for the best result it's useful to add "alpha" to all the textures: 57_2_1_t, 57_2_2_t, 57_2_3_t, 57_2_4_t, 57_L_6_t, 57_L_7_t, 57_R_6_t, 57_R_7_t, 57_RER_t, 57_REL_t, 57_x_5_t, 57_x_15_t.
1. Open the files in "photoshop".
2. Add new channel (alpha). By default it's black. We don't need that (extreme reflections may occur).
3. In "color picker" set this (may vary. The rule is: the darker the more reflective): R:237, G:221, B:221. That's all.
4. Save the .bmps (under their original names, of course) Smiley
5. Download (if you don't have it yet Sad) a programm "Imagetool" (can easily be found in the net).
6. Open the previously saved file(s) in "Imagetool".
7. Click "Save as". Type the file name and in "file types" choose "bitmap".
8. Enjoy the flight.

I appreciate the help and all, but I think I speak for a lot of members on this forum that I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing with this stuff. I tried adding alpha channels and all that; to tell you the truth I think I did more harm then good. So can I ask you again, if you can fix it for many people on this forum... Please, it seams so easy for you so I figure it wont be a problem Smiley

Dave Sweetman,

I am wondering if you could re-upload your Euro Atlantic 757-200 livery for FS2004 to Avsim. They list it as one of their unrecoverable files, and it was my favorite addon livery for this aircraft until I lost it in a computer system move.

The file name was: euro_236458.zip

Here is the Avsim info:

Category: Flight Simulator 2004 - Aircraft Repaints, Textures and Modifications
Euro Atlantic Airways B757-2G5      ZipDive!  Download

Images related to this file:

    * euro_236458-1.jpg
    * euro_236458-2.jpg
    * euro_236458-3.jpg

File Description:
This repaint depicts a Euro Atlantic Airways 757-2G5. This repaint requires the payware product by Captain Sim "757 Captain" and is 100% ACE compliant. The repaint has been tested on FSX. ***Please note that this is a visual 757-2G5 variant only. Annimation is as CS stock aircraft*** All instructions included.

Dave, I've been waiting for some days now for your Icelandair 757 repaint pack to become available at avsim.com, since it's not yet available there, would you consider uploading it to Flightsim.com?

btw, keep up the good work at your studio!

Cheers.
