WOW! Where did all that extra noise come from on 1.1?  Shocked

Anyone know how to fix this without having to turn down overall engine volume all together?

the main problem is,

that the sound is completly wrong,

the cockpit engine sound, is like it was recorded inside the frickin engine,

it doesnt sound like a flight deck anymore, it constantly sounds like your ears are right next to the engine, and at full N1?

how has this happened? can u return the original cockpit sound set please, please tell us how to do this?!

@captain sim,

i appriciate that you are doing it in the next update,

how ever!

can u please just at least tell us how we can fix it ourselves,

the worst we can do, is have to reisntall the aircraft, which for me is not a big problem.

however getting deafend as i go into the flightdeck, as if i am sitting next to the engine, not my co pilot.

can u please, just tell us, how we can fix it so it sounds like it did, before the update?

Will You put the diesel engine to the ferrari car?
because for me puting the sound from 757 to the 767 is this difference

I think the sound problem in 767 should be fix quick! the old sound from ver1.0  of 767 working good for me
so why we need to wait another few month for another patch to fix the problem witch not exist in older ver?
grrr

Alex

Ihad the same problem with the sound and I transferred the 757 sound for the 767 and everything is working fine and it is very quiet.
For the time being that is the best solution until the next update comes out.

Diesel engine to the ferrari car??????????  You carzy mate???

Yes, the 767 engines sound differently, but the 757 is one of the most powerful aircraft out there.  In fact, it is because of it's engine power that it can operate in places like St. Thomas and Toncontin Intl.

Jejejej!

Alternatively, you could reinstall 1.1 and install the 767, before update and save the sound in a different folder then install your 767 version 1.1
Replace the sound and there you have it, exactly like it was before.

In the Airplanes directory (SimObjects) where the 757 is situated open the 757 folder and look for the Sound.GE,  Just drag it and put it in the 767 folder, that's how you overwrite it.

I copied the sound.cfg from cs767-300 v1 and placed it in the sound.ge folder and overwrote the v1.1 sound.cfg. That worked for me.

I was lucky because still I had 767-300 v1 installed on my Windows 7 RC1 HDD.

You could uninstall v1.1 and reinstall v1.0.
Remove the sound.cfg from CS_B767-300\Sound.GE to you desktop or elsewhere.
Then unistall v1.0 and reinstall v1.1, replace the sound.cfg with the one from the desktop.

It's a bit of mucking around but it works too. I tried that with the Windows XP Pro HDD.  Smiley

Does anyone know how to enable the "click" sound of buttons and knobs in the cockpit? The 757 video on youtube sounds great.
