Hi, Ant.

No, it is not so simple like this.

Navigraph develops new cycles exactly to update TP and airports informations, to reflect real world.

I have experienced some 'non capture' ILS frequencies exactly because default airport did not match with latest AIRAC cycle.

In that case, there was a new ILS frequency that FMC was reading to the specific runway, and default FSX airport had the old frequency.

By the way, it gave me the opportunity to learn how to edit and compile airports with new information.  Wink

Schmid

Maybe this should be on a new thread. But I had this same issue with Dublin(EIDW). So I would now love to know how to "to edit and compile airports with new information. " Kiss Wink

There are some free applications to do this.

I use mostly ADE - Airport Design Editor at  http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/

I do not intend to create or improve existing airports but it has been very useful to correct ILS frequencies and to align ILS glide - there are some airports with the glide misaligned.
