How were you changing the callsign? Do you use the standard FSX air traffic control?

You most likely have to go into the aircraft.cfg file and change the line that reads atc_airline=Boeing to atc_airline=Continental for that particular plane - here is the part you'll need to change in your .cfg file:

[fltsim.2]
title=Captain Sim 757-300 FSX 2
sim=cs757-300RR
model=RRW
panel=
sound=RR
texture=continental
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=N75857
atc_airline=Continental
atc_flight_number=757
atc_heavy=0
atc_parking_types=
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Captain Sim"
ui_type=757-300 RR
ui_variation=Continental
description=Block 300 - 757-300 Expansion Model v.4.1 FSX \n(c) 2008 Captain Sim \nwww.captainsim.com

Good luck

Jim

Yes, the full default path is:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B757-300

Hmmmm....you should have 17 objects inside your texture.contenental folder.  If that folder is empty, you'll have to reinstall that livery with the ACE program.

For changing the call sign, you do it in the aircraft.cfg file, which is in the CS_B757-300 folder.

Good luck, and I'm here every few days,
Jim

yeah, the continental folder has 17 files. It has a thumbnail, texture.cfg. The rest of the folders has file named 57_3_1_Spec.dds, 57_3_1_t.dds. the 15 other files end with .dds.

Why would you do this the HARD WAY?

Select your plane from the plane loading screen.  Click the DETAILS button.  Change the call sign there!

the problem is that when i get the list when i pressed details, the continentals call sign is not there, is pretty much the regular defaults FSX call sign.

Ok, your list of files in the texture.continental folder is correct.  Have you tried the fix I mentioned above in your aircraft.cfg file??  That should take care of the problem...if not, I don't know what else to recommend, other than a complete uninstall/reinstall of the CS757 series.

Good luck,
Jim
