The CS B-52 will be a great FSX add-on aircraft.

I was just thinking about the FSX wing flex capability and
the black smoke from the engines on take off.

The B-52 is the only airplane I've seen take off with the
nose pointed in a downward attitude.

That will be great in FSX.

Roll Eyes

yeah! i can imagine very well!

also very nice will be the crosswind correction system. watching the runway coming closer through the sidewindow and touching down perfectly anyway.

did i already mention, that the D-model would be nice to have?

Hi everybody i'm new here and i just saw the Captain Sim B-52 in the previews section, and i'm amazed at how much detail it has.

I also had a vision of the endless possibilities of what you can do with this Magnificent Airplane Roll Eyes, here are a few... Grin

Flying the Cold War Deterrence Mission "Operation Chrome Dome" In which the B-52's are flying 24/7 just 2 hours from there targets inside Russia,Imagine players flying this mission on the FSX Multiplayer where you get to see other players flying in formation or alongside and...Air to Air Refuelling with KC-135 Stratotankers and then(Just like the movie Dr.Strangelove...or not)we get a code from base(If it's possible)to nuke targets inside russia to prevent the commies from "impurifying our precious bodily fluids".Then we get to do the checklist when Wing Attack Plan R is issued and then head for our targets then(simulating that we dropped the bomb)kabooom mission complete return to base gentlemen Grin

The second...

Flying over low altitudes in Vietnam dropping massive amount of bombs while F-105 Thunderchief Aircraft escort us...

Well thats all i can think off other members or users please vision what you can do with this magnificent aircraft...

Hey mate Smiley

Glad you are enthusiastic about Captain Sim and the BUFF.  I can't, however, think it would be terribly appropriate for Captain Sim to model these- for one, Captain Sim is a Russian company.  I, for one, would be very upset with anyone who bombed Rachmaninoff's homeland.

Missions like these are something Gera over at Sim-Outhouse might be interested in.  Join there and drop your idea by him Smiley

I think that very few Flight Simmers look at it quite like that?
Most of us just want to fly historical aircraft.

People from all over the world read this forum and some of the wording
in your post is a little outdated and unnecessary.

And that's saying it as nice as I can!

Thank you JB, you said what I wanted to say, but much better.

I think it would be rather offensive to both Russian and Vietnamese customers Sad

Respectfully submitted,

Kevin

You know what Captain Sim are like, we'll find out a week or two before it comes out  Grin
But I think they'll complete the 767 series first.

Hey all,  I hate to flog a dead horse, but is this project still in the works? This would be a fun plane to fly!

Interior and systems takes very long time and hardly can be completed till 2011.
So most likely we'll release the B-52 exterior model alone, soon.

I can imagine why it's taking so long, the B-52 is the worlds most complex aircraft which is why it has such a wide variety of roles. In addition the typical 50's style cockpit is crammed full of switches, levers and dials. Just Google "b52 cockpit" and you'll see what I mean.
