Thanks captainsim 2! What do I need to get an AVIANCA livery for my csp721_2200 download? You say 200 repaints will work in 100. I've tried this with repaint available at the site, but it won't show.I have 727-200 installed and it does install in there, eventhough I only edit the .cfg file of the 100 and c/p the texture folder in there.

Most of the 300+ Free Liveries for the 'Legendary 727' are compatible with the '727 Captain'!
Legendary 727 is the 200 model,right?

I have 727-200 exterior and 727-100 pro. I'm trying to installAvianca textures to my pro. model,but they only install in the 200 exterior model. I managed to make an install on pro 100 but it came out all black. I did the fallowing...first I used standard procedure of installing textures in FSX. No results but on the -200 exterior model.
Then I used the ACE of the 100 pro. and the textures,althoiugh the thumbnail is the right colors,when I look at files tree in detail. But when I load it it comes out black,both in the menu and when the sim loads the plane,on the runway, on the free-flight window.????

i have been having problems with the ace editor not using the texture folder name of my new repaints and renaming them texture.aa which is being used by another livery that came with 727-100 so i have to add min in manually in to the cfg with out using ace at all

It doesn't work for me either,with an Avianca texture. I've treid everything. even after loading it via ACE succesfully it doesn't show. and upon starting the sim I get the message that tere are multiple objects with the same name and they must have individual names!!!

KB#4530 only says that the development team will look (ing) into the matter....In the mean time we wait.... Roll Eyes

if u want a way to get them working with out ace then u will have to doit manually by placing ur repaints in to the main folder ie (c:\program files\microsoft games\microsoft flight sim\SimObjects\Airplanes\cs_B727-200)
then open the aircraft cfg in note pad making sure the box always open with DOSE NOT HAVE A TICK IN IT then copy text that looks some thing like this
[fltsim.xx] (chaing the xx to the next number in line)
title=CS 727-200 Captain Paintxx (change the xx to the same number)
sim=cs727200
model=re_another company (u may need to chainge this to the correct aircraft)
panel=
sound=
texture=OLD british airways1 (chang this to the texture folder name)
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=CAA (chaing this)
atc_airline=BRITISH AIRWAYS (change this)
atc_flight_number=BACAA (chaing this)
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=727-200 another company/RE (change this)
ui_variation=BRITISH AIRWAYS (change this)
ui_typerole=Commercial Airliner
ui_createdby=Captain Sim
description=727 Captain: 727-200 Expansion Model v2.2\british airways b-acwf by nath2889 (change this to the orthers name wish)
visual_damage=1

change every thing that has (change) next to it to the repaint u are tring to use

number the xx with the next number ie if you have 8 727-200
then the [fltsim.XX] should look like this [fltsim.9]
also title=CS 727-200 Captain PaintXX should look like this title=CS 727-200 Captain Paint9
once installed the ace editer will pick it up so if you wish to delete it you can use the ace option

use the manual for the correct model type its right at the bottom hope this helps

Nathan,
We do not experience these problems with new fixed ACE Editor, successfully added all your liveries without issues. Please reinstall the 727 then add all your repaints.
