Question about throttles

How do you advance or retard all four throttles simultaneously on the C-130? Im using a Force Feedback 2 joystick and would like to operate the throttles together using the power lever on the stick. Currently, I have been clicking and dragging each individual throttle. This is very cumbersome.

What am I missing? Any and all help appreciated!

Sounds like you either need to look at the setting in F Sim or look at the joystick utility. I have never encountered the problem so I am only gusessing. Look at the Setting of F Sim. They might have the throttle down as an individual one for each.

Options > Controls > Assignments

Axis tab

Make sure your joystick is selected in the drop box

Scroll down to Throttle (make sure you don't select Throttle 1-4, but rather the one that just says throttle).

Select change assignment, then move your throttle, it should detect the movement, just hit ok a few times and you're golden

I walk beside you but you don't notice me.  You turn to the alley, I disappear.  You turn away from the light in time to see your shadow jump.  Lassombra was here.

Hi,

seems you disconnect the throttles pressing E ang a number key (1 to 4).
To reconnect them press E and then 1 2 3 4 (quickly one key after the other).

Problem is, many times this key combination fails to work for no apparent reason...

Seems strange though that your throttles get disconnected... do you manage to move at least one throttle with the joystick throttle lever? If not, this is propably a control assingment issue from FS or Win "Game Controllers" (as Dax and Lassombra have pointed out)...
