The flap handle and the indicator do not coincide.

This is not necessarily a bug..even in the real-world there are tolerances between the two.

Not if you have 8 degrees off !  Try 50% and you will see what i mean.

I am no C-130 expert but I have noticed that I can only get 9 flap settings using either my yoke or the F5 - F8 keyboard inputs.  This would account for the discrepancy with the gauge because 10 settings would be needed for things to line up correctly.  (I am not counting 0 or up as one of the settings)

The correct settings seem to be scheduled in the aircraft.cfg file, so perhaps FS9 has a problem with the total number of flap settings used.

ATB,

Brian

Hi,

FLAP handle and indicator have to agree within 7%.
So 8 degrees out at full FLAP deflection wouldn't worry me. At 50%, up to 4-5 degrees is fine. More than this will propably warrant an entry in the technical log for maintenance. It wouldn't cancel a flight for this.

BTW, the FLAP lever position has priority over the indicator.

This is a common occurence in the RW Herc. Don't worry about it.
