To any kind soul out there in FS Land...

Would there be any kind soul out there with repainting abilities that would be able to do a fiction United Nations repaint for the models currently available? Lord knows I have tried myself and ive found out I wasnt blessed with any repainting talents. I can fly em, but I sure cant paint em. Anybody willing to take up this request would not only have my infinite respect, but I would go to my local bar and have a beer in your honor (heck, I might have 2 in your honor!).

Big Thanks from Ottawa
Wink

I could only find pics on the L-100-30 in UN colours, but if anyone could use it as a template, that would be great!

Sorry.....I spent about 2 hours at the site the other day.....And I thought I had seen some, and I really didnt want to go back through some 293 pages and 4405 photos......But you found them! I have re-painted in the past but always kept them to myself....I have looked at the Herc's( Paint Templates) and they are intimidating to say the least. I found a few schemes I want to try myself.
No promises'....I'll probably get beat to the draw.....But I'll see what I can do.

Jeff,  The paint templates look intimidating, but in reality they are not that difficult.  Give it a try, you may surprise yourself.... Smiley

One tip I picked up from doing a repaint was to make a test copy of an existing paintjob with coloured lettering added onto each section of the texture whos location and orientation I wasn't sure of.
E.g. Blue letters on one file, red on another. FFF on one part, PPP on another (use letters that are not symetrical about any axis. i.e. Not A or E etc.)

That way you can load it up and see where the letters appear, and whether they are reversed or upside down etc.
Saves the embarssment of spending ages on a cool 'F.A.S.U'' paintjob.

Oh....Dont' get me wrong guys...If you can wade thru some of the other paint templates out there you can figure this one out.
BMAC...........Your welcome....

OLD CITY.......I just have'nt had the time to sit down with this one yet....I've done alot re-painting in the past, with some really strange "Layered" PhotoShop files.....What I meant was, that if some one has never done this it can really freak you out.

STUNTIE.......That's what I try to do......But still this one is broken up into 8 files for the airframe, which means just a little more figureing out......I'll mess around today when I get home from work and see what I can do with it....Again in the past I've only re-painted for my self, never for any one else.
