LNAV have some incident for me that not switch pass a waypoint, as reported: https://www.captainsim.org/forum/csf.pl?num=1626443114 It not only happened in STAR/APP, it also happened to me at cruize, if you are like me, NOT monitor fight while cruizing, you may find yourself missed a waypoint and flight stright to somewhere 100miles off course while LNAV still shows it's on :( VNAV is OK, climb out without problem, but the descending... while a little better than 757/767... that's a low standard... The autopilot system as a whole is too simular to 757/767, lack some key differentiation unique to 737CL, so sometimes it feels weird for a 737 guy like me, but somewhat manageable if you familiar with 757/767. WXR for me is alomst unusable for TO/LDG, as it make my FPS drop from like 27~30 to 20~22, unlike the one on 757/767 only drop like 1~2 FPS from 30 Also, for me, the AUTO SLATS issue (https://www.captainsim.org/forum/csf.pl?num=1617521819) is quite annoying, as it prevents you to properlly follow SOP, and make some annoying noise, but it doen't have too much impact on flight trajectory. And many others here and there, I really hope CS could keep the momentum as before, push out patches like every 2~3 weeks to get them done. The price, if including -500 and -400 (and BTW they really didn't put any effort on the variations, see:https://www.captainsim.org/forum/csf.pl?num=1626492087), is well with some study level add-on, or at some add-on that at least flies well without failure mode. |
