Title: How to load P3D4 flightplan? Post by contractpilot on Dec 24th, 2018 at 2:00am
Recently purchase CS757III for P3Dv4.4. I generally use SimBrief for my flight planning. What format are CS flight plans stored in -i.e. .rte, .pln, etc. Where specifically are they stored in the sim?
Thank you, Paul K KGYR |

I just bought it yesterday, it uses the regular P3D format, Simbrief also can produce a CS format which is the same like P3D format and placed at the same directory ......documents/P3D
You can import both tothe it to the FMC |

Title: Not able to load or import flight plans in the FMC Post by SABREHAWK1375 on Jan 3rd, 2019 at 4:42am
I am by no means a real pilot, I just enjoy the hobby because I am into aircrafts! I like to keep things simple. I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to load a pre flight flightplan into the FMC via the "Send request" on the ROUTE page of the FMC. It takes me to a screen that says Corporate Routes and FS flght plans . Notice it says Import on the top of the FMC but it is not loading any of the flight plans that I placed into the Captain sim "routes" folder located in the main P3D directory! I am using the current version of the B757 but I am still on P3dv4.3 not yet ready to update until I see no issues with that upgrade! Any suggestion of how to get the FMC to load these flightplans. They are in pln. format and I have 2 that are in rte. format as I was testing to see if it would read either and it didnt! :-/

How did you create the route that you put in the CS Route folder?
