After spending hours trying to figure out why the autopilot does not start properly when i click one of the CMD buttons. I'm pretty sure I did the pre takeoff work like i'm supposed to, I followed the tutorial posted in this thread http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1236018623 . I'll attach a couple of pictures to document my prestart procedure.

One thing I noticed was that the IRS heading is not the same heading as the one the plane is facing, its off by about 15-20 degrees (cant remember the exact number). Can this have something to do with it?


Finally I'll attach a screenshot of the plane at some altitude never wanting to intercept the lnav course, having been in lnav for some time.

Lots of stuff missing here and I am not sure what your question is.  What about the flight plan?  have you entered it?, then the Arrival/Departure.....has it been entered?  And have you checked your route by stepping through the Legs?  Lots missing here.....

Everything was set up perfectly, I know how to set up an FMC lol :P Turned out there was some issue with FSUIPC, after installing the latest version everything works as advertised :)
