Howdy Simmers!
Due to local weather conditions, I was stuck at the house all weekend (that's my way of saying I didn't get out to fly) so I decided to re-make my original videos for the Captain Sim 757. The new videos go into a little more detail, and are recorded in HD. Be sure to click the "Watch in HD" link below the video pane, and even switch to full-screen mode to see the best quality. YouTube's HD in full screen is almost as good quality as the actual sim view.
I still zoom in very close to a lot of items so that people who don't have enough bandwidth to see the details get a better view in the standard definition mode.
Note: I'm not a professional pilot, I'm not certified to operate this aircraft, and I'm not even certain that everything I "know" about it is accurate. If I made a mistake, tell me how, and why you know it to be a mistake, and I'll see if I can correct it.
I did NOT use any real-world checklists, only the lists from the Captain Sim manual, and I *think* I may have overlooked a couple items, such as making sure the Left (Captains) VOR/DME is set to Auto. Nobody's perfect.
Anyhow, I made these videos originally because a friend from UGT bought the plane and he was having difficulty getting it started. I suspected that he wasn't doing the Pre-flight setup correctly, but he wasn't familiar with the systems. These videos should help fellow CS pilots become more familiar with the systems and how they need to be set up in order for the engines to get started.

It takes a vast amount of time to create these videos (I spent most of the weekend working on these three). I do plan to cover other things, such as the CDU/FMC, other checklists (mostly shutdown and secure), and possibly will also show how the Autoland system works.
If you have any questions or comments about the videos, please feel free to comment on YouTube, as that will probably get my attention sooner. I check the CS forums frequently, but YouTube emails me when I get comments and private messages there, so my response time will be quicker.
Hope it helps!
