Issues with entering Flight Plan

Two issues;   The first is that when creating a new flight plan, the FMC automatically adds T/D and T/C entries.

The second is that when I enter data for approach, STAR, etc. rather than getting a RETURN prompt to write the data to the flight plan the FMC reads 'TMPY INSERT' and 'TMPY F-PLN'.  Neither of these are shown in the examples on pages 56-58 of the  MSFS manual.

However, where the is a runway only it works as in the manual.  I've have attached jpgs of the three instances I mentioned.
Thank you..

Sorry.. by enlarging the manual I can now see that 'TMPY INSERT' is on the FMC, but for some reason it isn't inserting the information into my flight plan.

If I play around with it, I can get it to work, but I still have the issue of the T/D and T//C being inserted.

BTW< I can't find  away to either edit or delete my previous message.

Thanks..

Okay, so I think I figured out how to get all of the information accepted into the flight plan or I've just found out the hard way of doing it.  Either way, it seems to work.

The T/C and T/D issue is still there, but I'm hoping that the FMC is calculating them correctly.
