A historical error in the paint scheme of Camel

A historical error in the paint scheme of Camel aircraft, and also on the SPAD S.XIII.

The Polish liveries of these aircraft contain incorrect checkerboard symbols on the wings and fuselage.

The checkerboards on aircraft from 1918–1921 were red and white and had no border. A border was added between 1921 and 1993, but they remained red and white.

Only in 1993 was a new marking scheme introduced, with the order of the fields reversed (rotated 90 degrees).

The Captain Sim Sopwith Camel and Captain Sim SPAD S.XIII used this incorrect 1993 paint scheme.

It is incorrect for historical aircraft from World War I.

Can these paint schemes be repaired?

It's a quick job, but I can't do it myself because I bought the paint schemes commercially and they are encrypted.

Could I access these unencrypted Polish paint schemes and edit them myself to match period paint schemes?

Regards
