I'm having trouble with the Polish paint schemes

I'm having trouble with the Polish paint schemes for the SPAD S.XIII and Camel aircraft.

Yesterday I bought your planes and their paint schemes (for the Polish paint schemes). Unfortunately, they are poorly made because they have checkerboards that were only used on Polish aircraft after 1993. When these planes were in service, they had different paint schemes.

Polish_Air_Force_checkerboard

In those days it was red and white, not white and red.

Is it possible to fix these paint schemes?

It's a quick job, but I can't fix it myself because the paint schemes are from a supermarket.

Could I access these unencrypted Polish paint schemes and fix them myself?

Best regards.

Hi vicia,
Please attach a screenshot of the "correct" checkerboard pattern. Ill take a look into it and make a note for a future update block.

You also mentioned the same for the Camel, can you also attach a reference for it and ill also note the Camel too.

Thanks!

The first SPAD XIIIs arrived in Poland in August 1920 and were used in fighter squadrons until 1923.

The Sopwith Camel was imported in October 1920 and crashed in Lviv in 1921.

So, initially, they were painted without a frame (1918–1921).

During the war, they were repainted with a frame (1921–1993).

But they were always the standard red and white, both with and without a frame.

(What's in the paint package) is incorrect.

Because this paint scheme was only in effect from around 1993 until today.

Where the checkerboards were reversed 90 degrees.

And this is the Polish aviation checkerboard pattern that has been in effect since 1993.

I have the reference files and paint patterns, but I don't know how to attach them to a forum post.

I see that if I add one post, I will be able to post 10 links to photos (I don't want to clutter the forum, so I ask the administrator to delete my unnecessary posts).
