Exhaust wind drift

I also notice that the new exhaust drifts in the opposite direction to the wind.  If the wind is from the right the exhaust should drift to the left.  But it drifts against the wind to the right.  This also means that when you are at cruise and have vapour trails, the exhaust and the vapour trails aren't aligned.

Hear is another shot with vapour trails and exhaust together.  The vapour trails are drifting with the wind while the exhaust trails are not.  As the aircraft and the trails are both being affected by the same force of the wind, the exhaust trails should be straight out the back (and not the opposite direction as indicated in my 1st post).
