Taxi/landing lights do not have enough throw

Hi all,

Seeing that the last post on this forum was a few years ago, I hope this one will garner some responses.

I am trying to figure out an issue with taxi/landing lights on the CS 737, as well as their other products in P3D. They do not have enough "throw", or range I guess you could call it, on the ground. They have no problem illuminating the scenery objects a thousand feet away, but the lighting on the pavement/ground itself fades out only a few feet ahead of the light. The taxi light throws about 10 feet away from the light source, the landing lights only throw to the nose of the airplane. I can't see either from the cockpit, not even a bit, so there's no reason to even have them on at that point. I've tried editing the effect file, adding a default landing light through both the CFG as well as ModelConverterX to no avail. This is an issue on other CS planes in P3D as well. Does anyone have any real solutions I could try so I could see where I'm taxiing at night? Thanks!

Best,

RW
