Gidday folks, is there anyone who has redone the VC Views ? . when I use the joystick toggle to look left and right in every other aircraft it looks left..and right,..with the C-130 there is a slight left and then when looking "right" there is simply an even further left view ?...I dont know enough about cameras so havnt attempted it myself..
Hope that makes sense  Grin

This is a problem with the way Captain Sim did the views for the C130 aircraft.  I have the E, H and J models and they all have this issue.  Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a means to supmit a support ticket to Captain Sim regarding this issue.  Yes you can create a custom view to look left and right but then you have to create a separate profile for the C130 aircraft so you don't mess up your existing profile.  I have all of the 9 available custom views already configured and don't want to have to loose any of those to create custom views to look left or right as Captain Sim should have considered those views when configuring their cameras.  To answer your question you would need to create a new profile for the C130 and after selecting that you would need to create custom views for looking left and right and then assign those views to your controller.  If someone knows how to modify the cameras.cfg file for the C130's I would appreciate them chiming in.

I discovered that the standard keyboard commands for quickview 45 left, left, 120 left, 45 right, right and 120 right do not work.  The only solution I was able to come up with was to make backup copies of the camera.cfg files for each of the C130 variations and then went into each and deleted CAMERADEFINITION.4 through CAMERADEFINITION.9 and saved the files.  I then went into each variation and tried the standard keyboard commands to quickview left and right and those worked.  My controller buttons for those views also work now.  It would be nice if Captain Sim would fix their views so one could use the keyboard commands for the quickview left and right views.

Correction, the keyboard view commands do not work after the changes I made to the camera.cfg file.  But then they didn't work before either.  At least my hat switch which is configured to cockpit quickview left and right works.  So for now this is fixed for me but I really wish Captain Sim would fix the camera.cfg files to the keyboard view commands work.

Sorry for all the posts.  I wish this forum allowed you to edit a post.  If it does I am missing as how to do that.  Regarding the keyboard commands for left and right views.  The commands CTRL+LEFT and CTRL+RIGHT do work before and after the change.  It's the commands for 45 left (CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT), 45 right (CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT), 120 left (CTRL+ALT+LEFT), 120 right (CTRL+ALT+RIGHT) that do not work before or after the camera.cfg change.
