Nace42,
I did a short flight with Vor in AP and it worked very well. Maybe you touch by mistake the turn knob and it force the AP to turn the direction that knob are not centered.

edit: noticed that when cold and dark and ctrl+e to start up, the gyro pilot doesnt work correctly (right turn into full conrtol loss), but when spawning on the runway its fine and doesnt act up when engaged. is it something im missing or something in the .flt file that could be an issue?

ok i can confirm after some tinkering, theres a switch thats on in the runway.flt file that doesnt get set or turned to on in the CTRL+E start. for the record i put ALL the lvars in the runway.flt into the apron.flt and now the AP works without banking right into oblivion

@starseed that solution only works for the cold and dark ctrl+e startup. which is due for some reason to the fact that not all switches get enabled as they should when you ctrl+e start. if your having the right turn into oblivion, i can guide you.

no real idea tbh, other than a hunch that we are missing something we need to turn on manually that doesnt get turned on via ctrl+e startup.

first step is you need visual studio (technically the file you open up can be opened via notepad, HOWEVER i have no idea if it saves the format correctly).

next would be to look at the screenshot attached, and find said file and open it (again i advise to use visual studio).

last step would be too copy these:

[LocalVars.0]
CS_FLT_TYPE=2
O05_023_GL3=2
O05_022_GL3=2
P12_001_SW3=1
O04_001_SW3=1
O04_002_SW3=1
O04_003_SW3=1
O04_004_SW3=1
R18_001_SW3=2
R18_002_SW3=2
P01_004_GL2=1
P04_004_GL2=1
L22_003_IND=31
m133_adiStartupPitch=1
m133_adiStartupBank=1
M05_002_LVR=50
M06_002_LVR=50
M07_002_LVR=50
M08_002_LVR=50
P19_001_GL4=1
S12_003_GL5=0

and find the match in the apron.flt and paste over them (you can copy those and highlight all the ones existing in the apron.flt file and paste it. should work).

i am no way at fault if you dont do it correctly, i would advise to change anything in there ONLY if you understand and know how it works as if done wrong, it can bork the aircraft. (apologies for the long post)

Hi there, the new complete C-130 is looking mighty fine, but there is no usable NAV detent around from the HDG detent so NAV cannot be selected to follow a GPS flightplan ?

There's no GPS in this version of the Herc. You have to use manually tuned VORs/VORTACs.

The issues I'm having with the AP is following a VOR direction every few minutes it will reset the CRS to 351 from whatever it's set to. I have to constantly reset this on the flight plan. CS team - can we get that added to the bug list please?
