Update/Development Roadmap Requested

Captain Sim,

Can you provide us with a patch/update/development roadmap for this aircraft?

1. What updates are we expected to see next? When?

2. What is the intended feature set - will complexity be expanded with custom avionics and systems logic, or will systems remain adapted from default avionics? What about flight dynamics?

Captain Sim has lost a lot of goodwill in the community due to a series of releases that have basically been visual models with generic/default avionics, and copy/pasted flight dynamics (among other attributes) with little to no customization.

A clear statement of scope for this aircraft going forward will help ease expectations if the B717 is to remain casual/basic-oriented.

Additionally, (and more broadly), what is the composition of the CS team right now regarding expertise?
Many users recall the FS2004/FSX days of complex, custom-coded aircraft with fairly accurate systems. It seems like your visuals remain great, but users are noticing a lack of fidelity in everything else. Did CS lose team members?

Thanks!

I too would like to see CS the way they use to be, a top shelf aircraft simulation company.  Thank God there have been mods by MasterRob to create an enjoyable cockpit and 777 to fly.  Still hoping for a mod for the 767.  A clear explanation of work ethic and expectations from CS to the community would go a long way with consumers.

I don´t know what is wrong with this Company. There is no way to get in contact, all e-mails they ever had are invalid, support tickets are not allowed. I worked for Captain Sim back in the good old Days of FSX. Made all the voices for the legendary 727 and got kind of salary for that. BUT I don´t get nothing from them and I can´t write to them. So this is a very good way to bring a well known Company to its grave. RIP

Captains,

Let's discuss issues and improvements to this product on this  thread, not the history of the company and other products.

Yes, we are working on updates. The first update is planned for next week.

717 has fairly well-developed systems for the current price:
- Autopilot
- Electrical system
- Hydraulic system
- Fuel system
- Engine Start system
- Air system
- Lighting, etc.

We hope current product reflects more than the listed price.
We are trying our best to make any additional improvements a pleasant surprise for 717 captains.

The current systems are copied and implemented from default aircraft (as are the flight dynamics and sounds). Are custom systems, flight dynamics, and sounds planned?

ETA for the first of hopefully multiple updates?
Haven't heard anything since this post, and it's current 11 or 12 October as of time of this writing.

I second the update request. Sure, the aircraft has well-developed systems for its current state, but the transponder being inoperable and limiting use on VATSIM, etc. is huge. I recognize we don't know the developer's workload, but a quickfix to solve that likely would have gained a lot of goodwill amongst the Captains.
