Ground Image Reflected in ND

Have just downloaded and installed the latest V1.30 of the 767.

However, after applying external power for the first time, I'm now see a ground image 'reflected' in the glass of the ND as per the below.

If you look closely, you can see a ground image of Heathrow Airport (IniBuilds). The airport image changes its size based upon the setting of the ND range switch.

This has been tried at several airports including payware and defaut with the same results.

Currently running DX11 with DLSS.

Any ideas what could be causing this ?

Problem fixed - caused by having the Wx Radar switched on -seems to be on by default.

Interesting! I just checked this, and I'm only seeing that when the WXR is off. I say this because when the WXR is on, I see the letters WXR (in blue) on the lower left side of the display, and the distance lines (is that what they're called?) on the display. Not only that, the WXR is not on by default for me when I start a flight with the 767. Undecided

Yes, I just rechecked and you're correct, it's switching WXR On that removes the 'reflections', not Off.

Just watching thisYouTube video:

If you check around the 01:30 mark, it would appear that their ND also has similar 'reflections'.

Any ideas what could be going on ?

I don't really know, but my guess is that it's probably because they use the MSFS 747 panels, as explained in the rquirements for being able intall/use the 767 (as shown below). Perhaps that's as close as they can get to not having it show up at all.

I'm also not surprised that it's showing in the YouTube video of the CS 767. If we see it, why not him? Smiley

From the description for the cockpit and cabin of the 767 III:
Some systems use default 747 (must be installed) to provide expandability with community mods

But isn't the ND a custom gauge ?

I don't know. But going by the fact that the airport map shadow is visible makes me think it might not be.
