The 767. The past, the present, the future.

The past.
Please do not compare the 767 Captain III fidelity to our previous products.
The 767 is meant to be different: great visuals+essential systems and a flight model, all for a fraction of our regular airliner price.

The present.
Some of  the 767 systems are coded from scratch, but some (e.g. FMC, MFD, PFD) are stock. However it's not a mod of the 747 code, it is your current local 747 code plus an extra CS code which provides compatibility with CS 3D models. That's why you see some features of the 747 like 4 engines, 747 naming etc. Well, that's what the Essential functionality paired with default 747 systems simulation is all about.

Third party mods.
Hardcore simmers may enjoy free community mods. Some of them are quite advanced. We do not support the mods setup and compatibility issues.

The future.
We are not going to make any improvements of the default 747 code. So the 767 Captain III is pretty much done systemswise. We will address teething issues so please feel free to report them.

What about a "study level" 767 in the future?
Possibly, but it's going to be a 767 Captain IV, if any.

Appreciate this much wanted surprise! While I wish it was fully developed from scratch I'll enjoy 767 flights with ease.

I will happily invest in this, not just as a lifelong simmer and current 767 captain, but it's something that's desperately needed and will truly skyrocket sales if the extra effort was put into a study level product!

It seems like, just a bit tweaked
Pretty almost everything is from the 747, the sounds, the gauges, sad to see what happend to the beautiful 767 from P3D

1. This 767 cockpit has never been in P3D, it's built from scratch for MSFS2020.
2. The 767 gauges are not from the 747 because they don't exist on the 747.

As for the stock components, they are explained at the 763 page.

The last not the least, the "beautiful 767 from P3D" is $50 (fifty) more than the 767-III. Coincidence? I think not  Wink

Do you plan to add GE engines since you already have working model from -400 version? Also, beacon light seems not to be working on -300 version.

Will the KC-46 variant be available outside of the marketplace at all?
