Overhead yellow/green lights

The lights using the switch OVHD/CB in the attached don’t turn on. They worked fine in the 32 bit version. Also the manual doesn’t identify this switch. Why? I’ve seen others here with the P3D4 version and them working fine in their screenshots.

According to the cockpit tooltip that I see when I hover the mouse over those switches, they're for the adjusting the brightness of the Circuit Breaker and Overhead Panel Lights.
You're right though, they don't appear to work. Undecided

Thing is, they appear to work on the CS promo page for this product. How about some CS support on this please.

I not sure I'm understanding your problem correctly.

I believe you can't change the brightness of the OVHD/CB yellow/green light brightness using the OVHD and CB brightness knobs. Right?
I was saying that the OVHD/CB light switch doesn't work (at least not for me).

Or is it that you can't turn the yellow/green lights themselves on?
If this is the problem, you have to press the small button in the centre of the MASTER BRIGHT switch, which just to the right of the STORM light switch.

Can't get the green overhead lights (that light up the buttons and switches themselves) at all.  Pressing the center of the master bright switch jus adds a white flood light to the overhead. No "slime" lights!

Which version of P3D, and which 777 model (i.e. 777-200ER GE90B) are you using that you're having this problem with? I tried it in P3Dv4 and P3Dv5, and it works for me.

I checked the CS_B777-200LR-II_GE110B1 in P3Dv4.5 and it worked. This isn't really surprising since all the panel files are all used from the CS_B777-200ER-II_GE90B panel files.

All I can suggest is to use the Extended Download Service to download the csy772_1100.exe file again, and reinstalling/repairing the installation. You need to make sure that your AV, and/or Windows Defender, are OFF during both the downloading, AND the installing to be sure that they don't interfere (delete) any of the files during the download and install.

I hope that fixes you problem.

One more thing. Could it be your graphics card driver? Have you updated it recently?

Thanks Mark for your continued help.

I have discovered that the problem at the moment exists with a merged aircraft (SkySpirit 777 ext model with CS VC) and when I load the default 777-200ER GE90B these lights work correctly (Smiley. So, either I not fly the merged bird or I need to do some tinkering with the config, perhaps something getting lost with all the aliasing involved. So thank again.
But now I have another which I am posting in a separate topic.

Just a follow up for others - it was I had the aliasing wrong for the merged model. All good now and really enjoying the CS 777!!
