Vibration Alarm on with throttle up at take-off.

Just bought the L-1011, so far very impressed. As a C-130 E engineer of yesteryear I had to dig down deep and do some cross referencing. My immediate problem is with every throttle advancement on takeoff, I get the Vibration warning followed by the retardation of the throttles. The only override is to hold the F4 key down until a safe altitude is reached. Usually everything operates as advertised from there.
Thanks Valkyrie

I don't now why this is happening to you, because I just did some takeoff testing with the L-1011 II in P3Dv4 and P3Dv5 using my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, and I didn't get any vibration allerts during takeoff (I was using the throttles at 100% for the takeoffs).

warning stop when weight is off the wheels. I haven't yet retracted the gear but everything indicates normal. Power, hydraulics, electrical, fuel and pneumatics are good.
Thanks Valkrie

Ahhh. So it's the 1011 Captain (FSX/SE/P3D3), not the 1011 Captain II (P3D4/P3D5). Seeing as you posted in the 1011 Captain II forum, I assumed that's what it was (1011 Captain forum is here). Wink

Anyway. With the testing in FSX, I got the vibration warning, but the throttles remained at 100% until the warning light went out at ~10,000 feet. What I normally do is pull the joystick throttle back to 0% after turning the AT on.
