another company 767 Problem
Apr 2nd, 2022 at 1:32am
Print Post
Hi,
I am flying the another company 767 Sim in FSX - Steam and decided to purchase the Wx Radar add-on.  Unfortunately, auto installation of the radar into the aircraft did not work so I performed a manual install by following advice on the forum and adding specific lines to the aircraft CFG.  The radar works perfectly but unfortunately it screws up the aircraft's electrical system by causing the Generator Drives of the aircraft to disconnect and causes the IRS and other electrical systems to fail or not work properly.  When I uninstall the Wx Radar, the systems return back to normal.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You're only adding the 2D WXR to the 767, not a VC intergration right?

Thanks for the quick reply and Yes, only as a pop up on the 2D panel.

Can you paste the changes made to the panel.cfg so I can see what might be wrong, went wrong, with adding it?

Is the gauge00=LVLD\B767Afds!Afds,0,0, below the WxR lines in [window11] an accident? It looks like it's the first gauge from [VCockpit00]. If it's just a mistake you added to your reply above, then it's nothing, otherwise that could be your problem.

Edit: If that line is in the panel.cfg, just delete it.

Hi Markoz,

That line has always been there, but now that you mention it, it is a duplicate of the first gauge 00 in the VCCockpit 01 section although I don't think that's the problem since the line is there in my current CFG without Wx Radar uninstalled and all of my aircraft systems work perfectly.  Do you think that line may be conflicting with:
gauge00=WXR!wr_display, 81,32,364,279

Yeah. You can't have two different gauges assigned to the same gaugeXX, so both gauge00 are probably creating a conflict.

Delete the gauge00=LVLD\B767Afds!Afds,0,0, line below [Window11]. Then see if the WxR works.
