I know this is a long shot but could there not be a chance that someone with the skills could be allowed to do a update on behalf of CS to make the main cargo door work. I'm sure someone out would want to do it.

They have abandoned P3D for the gamer version of flight simulator.

Lockheed Martin version is the simulator product that is used in the military (I used to be in Army Aviation).

The gamer version of course is Microsoft.
