Prevent Browser from Popping Open

Hello, first-time-poster here. I've been having problems with the 1.002 update (CTD) and I'd like to prevent the constant openings of the browser for the update.

Of course, I could look for help on the update but I have and none has come so far. Is there any way of simply stopping the browser from opening?

Sim Version: P3Dv4.5

In the panel.cfg, found in the P3Dv4\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B767-300ER-II_CF6-80C2\panel folder, you can stop this from happening by adding two forward slashes (//) in front of the gauge01=... line, under [Window00]. Like this:

[Window00]
background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,768
window_size_ratio=1.00
visible=1
ident=MAIN_PANEL
render_3d_window=0
window_size=1.000, 1.000
window_pos=0.000, 0.000
gauge00=..\..\CS_B767-300ER-II_PW4060\panel\y767.P01_2D!hk,                      1,   1,   1,   1
//gauge01=update!Main,                         0,   0,   1,   1

Open the panel.cfg with Notepad to make the changes. And... BACKUP THE PANEL.CFG BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES TO IT!!!

Okay, so, I did as directed and the update pop-up would still appear. Still, you led me in the right direction. I resorted to deleting the gauge line altogether from the panel CFG and moving the update dll to the back up folder along with the original cfg file and that did the trick.

Thanks for leading me in the right direction and Happy New Year's!

PS. The plane is working perfectly without the dll file and the gauge line.
