777F Weights
Dec 11th, 2021 at 7:01pm
Print Post

The following weights on the 777F do not correspond to reality. I would like to adjust / correct the weights.
Empty weight, TOW, fuel capacity and cargo capacity.
I found a flight-model.cfg on flightsim.to and added it - but the values adjusted there were unsuccessful.
Anyone know how I can adjust the weights?

Go to the MSFS Community\captainsim-aircraft-m774\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B777F_GE110B1 folder, and change the values you want to change found in the [weight and balance], and [FUEL] sections, in the flight_model.cfg.

Make sure you backup the flight_model.cfg before making any changes.
Also, I think that the flight_model.cfg file will be overwritten by a new one if/when the 777F gets updated! So make a backup of that too once you've changed it, and got it working. Wink

Note. I did this for the 772, but lost it due to an update, and never bothered to do it again. Sad

I have already changed the corresponding entries in the flight-model.cfg. But the old weights are still displayed and simulated in the flight simulator. Otherwise, can you send me your modified flight-model.cfg? Maybe I entered something wrong.

Sorry, but I don't have a modified flight_model.cfg to send. Sad

I have now bought the CS 777F twice: once from the MSFS marketplace and once from the CS website.
With the model from the CS side, I can now successfully replace the files so that the weights are correct. But the nav, strobe and beacon lights cannot be controlled.
Is there an idea for this or do I have to make a decision?
