Loosing ATC frequency
Aug 29th, 2021 at 9:23pm
Print Post
I fly with P3D5.2HF default ATC and somehow the frequency for voice comm is always changed by the radio in the aircraft, so I get a message, to change the frequency and then get "did you hear my last transmission". I realized then, it is still the same frequency I set already before 127.650.

Is there some automatic, I have to switch off or is something wrong? When I last flew the classic it was never a problem.
Dan

I have never seen this, but, on the other hand, I never tune comms manually. Nav yes, but guess I allow my copilot to handle comms.

With ATC you don´t dial manually, the window does it but it does it usually right. It is only the CS737 Classic. No other plane so it is probably not the sim doing it.

Almost the same problem, some time after depature com 1 switches from preselected departefreq (PF3) to 121.5 which is set on com 2. Never happens to any other aircraft

Thanks for confirming. Remains to hope CS will fix it.

In case others have this issue, I did too having recently purchased the classic. I have resolved it by ensuring the frequencies are copied on both sides exactly the same. So 122.800 the first frequency on both, then the same on second frequency. Select the Com1 button and that resolved it for me. If tuning Vpilot or IVAO through the software, I always set the requested frequency in box 2. Hope that makes sense

Can I just bring this subject back and ask for support here. The radio frequencies continue to randomly change. I had hoped the 'fix' I mentioned above would work. Unfortunately, when trying to fly online attempting to use Box 2 or change to any frequency that shows on Box 1 will alter the pre-set frequencies. This is making flying online very frustrating as ATC then need to text me to recall them!! I think it is easy to recreate. Simply select say 122.800 Box one and another frequency Box2 and watch and wait! I have to say, this is the one snag that is spoiling my pleasure for this otherwise great classic!!

Regards,

Keith

If I remember right, the frequency is changed whenever FSUIPC saves the flight. I had to switch off autosave. Forgot to write it here. But still, CS, please fix this, because autosave is a great feature.
