Hello,
Is anybody here who can take up this project for the forgotten users of CS 757 III who're still flying the bird in P3Dv4.4 and P3Dv4.5
Regards,
Swapnil.
Not sure I understand....if you're asking someone to make PBR textures for the 757, unless the model is coded for it, nobody except the original modeler can make the PBR texture maps.
If there were PBR textures for this aircraft, I'd consider giving my PBR metallic textures I've done on other aircraft so 757 customers here could have a real, reflecting American Airlines paint like I did for this one years ago when PBR 1st came out:
Once you get the technique down, aluminum skin can be "polished" like in the pic above, or more dull like below on this engine nacelle (fictional paint I did for some Kiwi friends):
You control the shininess by the red channel (and alpha) on the metallic texture map the modeler includes with the PBR-ready model. No more "painted on" shine of reflective metal, the metal reacts with the environment dynamically as you pan around the aircraft...its not static in the pre-PBR days.
Its a shame CS won't make this bird PBR, this is another classic livery the 757 wore and one of my all time favorites (I rode on many when I was in Atlanta)
Imagine this livery in PBR on the L1011!
