There's nothing to fix, the transponder works ok.
Just set the squawk code using MOUSE WHEEL.

The squawk must be set before the ATC service terminated.

But the stupid is allways i get a blame about the Code the Code is set as my ATC tells me so why i have to set something ?
The other thing is i have some options for the Transponder wheel that says for example: standby and Auto so whitch should i prefer, normaly it says standby..

The transponder is not working.  ATC is always canceling the flight because the squawk is not recognized even though the numbers are correct in the panel.  What's going on?

Transponder Issue

Very much often, I am receiving an attached message even transponder has a correct squawk number while flying by IFR.
Is any fix or workaround?

You have to turn the transponder mode knob to XPNDR using the mouse wheel.

TRANSPONDER SELECT SW

Would you please let me know which file has this SW position setup ? Every time start flight, MSFS 2020 is asking to check TRANSPONDER setting because STANBY is set as default.

How to set transponder?

Hi,

I have recently purchased the Boeing 777-200 ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Every time I load into a flight and talk to ATC my transponder seems to not be working, as ATC terminates my IFR plan due to "incorrect squeaking" and "inoperative transponder". I have seen multiple others experiencing the same issue, is there any fix for this issue?

Transponder Not Working

(I Understand I can not open another topic that already exists)

Hi,

The transponder works although ATC terminates my IFR plan as well as terminating ATC Services due to "incorrect squawking". I have set the AI copilot to control ATC and Squawk codes. The transponder display displays the correct squawk code although ATC says it is incorrect. Please give me a detailed response outlining the issue and how to fix it.

Thank you,

If AI copilot unable to set the Squawk you have to set it yourself manually using the mouse wheel.

So this helps for the issue you never get contact with the ATC until the end of the flight.
Didn`t tought to set on that because i thought standy was OK.
So a good find.. Cheesy

When is the transponder issue going to get fixed?  It doesn’t work in the 777-200.  It works in the 300 version.  Do not give the mouse wheel excuse. I need it fixed.
