Considering the circumstances, I think this soundpack will probably be the only saving grace of this product from this once capable developer. I think that says it all.

Wonderful, as always A T. I bought these CS planes partly thanks to the immersion you bring to them.

Looking forward to download it!

Hi all
I have probably missed something but in trying to set up the Rolls Royce version of this sound set I have noted that all the panels of both engine variants are linked to one master panel which at least in my set up is the P2037 (Panel and Whitney) panel. I don't have a separate panel .CFG to configure for the Rolls Royce variant of the package hence I'm not sure where I should add the Rolls Royce specific sentence.
Help appreciated
Warren

This thread is for the engine sound set not the system sound thing I made. Nonetheless, there is no master panel. The RR has its own base panel.cfg email me if you have questions. My email is in the instructions.

The RR panel is located here:

C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B757-200-III_RB535E4\panel

Thanks but in my setup that panel is aliased to the P2037 panel. None of my RR panels have a separate configuration.
Here is what the panel shows inside the folder.

[fltsim]
alias=CS_B757-200PF-III_PW2037\panel

I guess that's the difference. My setup is mostly freighters. Any idea what I might do to allow you package to work with these 757s?
Thanks

It’s really the same. Paste the lines in the PF 757 PW2037 panel.cfg

Can I paste both the Pratt and Whitney and Rolls Royce lines in the same configuration? Sounds like that might cause a conflict but I only have the single "master" configuration to work with.
I did try reassigning a specific configuration for the Rolls Royce airplanes and then aliasing the appropriate RR aircraft but it appears I cant have two "master' configurations. The RR sound works well but I don't have landing gear, aileron or elevator control.
Thanks
Warren

Just choose PW or RR one at a time!

Hello again
I have managed to use the Rolls Royce package and like the P and W version it seems very faithful to the real thing. The only comment I have is that there is a background hum at least in the cockpit only version that seems loud enough that it blocks out other cockpit sounds. It happens when increasing the throttles from idle and it disappears once the engines have moved to a higher power setting. I have yet to identify which sound file it is in the hope I might adjust the volume downward but at least in my set up it is always present at the situations I have mentioned above.
Great sounds
Thanks
Warren
