757 Fuel Burn

Hi everyone,

Just out of interest, what do people use for CS757 flight planning/fuel planning software? I've tried to use PFPX but I'm constantly short of a few tonnes of fuel by the end of the journey. Does anyone have any recommendations at all? Thanks for the help!

I use realworld FPPM and Boeing Performance Software.
What I find is CS is burning more when fly lower like at FL320 but burn less when going high like FL380.

There is a flaw on P3D/FSX's core engine that the mach drag not change with AOA, but nowadays most high-end Add-ons will able to by-pass it then...

I actually found a solution to this strange Fuel Burn problem. For those who are using PFPX, the trick is to put the 'Add Drag' when editing the individual aircraft onto +17%. This has proven very accurate for me with fuel planning/actual fuel remaining throughout.

I would rather change the
"
[GeneralEngineData]
fuel_flow_scalar=
"
in aircraft.cfg to let it match realworld data rather than reverse.

But that takes quite some test flight and time consuming.

Also due to the fact of the fuel flow not constantly higher or lower on all condition, I'll also go to change other parameters that makes it more complex. so I think that's what CS should do rather than me.

Right now I have self-edited ".air" file for both EPR and fuel_flow match, that's rather complex but works slightly better.
