How do I get to the "Ready to Start" selection?

I normally select any aircraft for P3DV4 by typing it's title line into the "Change vehicle\search" line. My L-10011 will then appear at the desired airport with it's engines winding down. I want to select "Ready for take-off (twice)" at this point - but I can't figure out where to make that selection. Advice please.

Menu > Add-ons > CS 1011 Captain II > Panel State: Load > Select Ready for takeoff from the list in the box that opens. Repeat once (I have to do it twice for the engines to remain running).

If you want a Ready to start option,  you need to get the L-1011 to that point, then save the panel:

1. Go to P3Dv4\Captain_Sim\1011 II\panel and backup the DEFAULT.cfg to DEFAULT-BAK-cfg
2. In P3Dv4 with the L-1011 in a "Ready to Start" setting, Menu > Add-ons > CS 1011 Captain II > Panel State: Save Current As > Save it by clicking on DEFAULT
3. Go to P3Dv4\Captain_Sim\1011 II\panel and rename the DEFAULT.cfg to READY TO START.cfg
4. Rename the backed up DEFAULT-BAK.CFG to  DEFAULT.cfg

I  have replied to your PM, but I will just reiterate what it says (so everyone else can know). I believe you have the 1011 Captain for FSX/SE/P3D3, and not the 1011 Captain II  for P3D4/P3D5.

Hi Mark, The store shows that I have the P3D version. I have deleted the version we have been discussing and downloaded a new one (it IS the P3D version) and selected and installed it in P3Dv4. Now - how do I select "Ready for start". I can find no information on setup in the manual.  Regards,  Bill

Meant to say it is the Captain II base Pack (P3D4/5)

I answered that here:

Note. You might have to wait a minute or so for the CS 1011 Captain II to appear in the Add-ons menu.

I don't think it tells you in the manual (I'll ask for that to be changed).

I would upload an image, but P3Dv4 shuts down every time I select the L-1011 on my laptop (PC is out of action due to the power supply carking it ).

Hi Mark,
My CS 1011 Captain II never appears in the (upper toolbar) Add-ons column (no matter how long I wait)
