767 ACE problem

So my A/V quarantined some files as I was installing my newly purchased 767.  I knew better; I should have disabled it.  I did manage to restore said files and I whitelisted the scripts, including the one to ACE.  I did this recently with my 757 and all is well...no issues.
The a/c loads and flies without any issues.  The 767ACE.exe file shows under my directory, but when I try to open it, nothing happens.
I uninstalled/reinstalled several times with my A/V turned off, and I even redownloaded the 767 and tried again but no dice.
Any suggestions?  Thank you.

I've gone through those steps.  The problem persists.  Is there a particular way I must uninstall?  I've just been doing it through the control panel.

Or is it possible to just obtain the ACE files?  Not sure what's going on.

If your AV has removed the ace_767.exe to the virus vault/chest, restore it, then add the ace_767.exe to the AV exclusions list. That should fix it.

That's exactly what I did.  I excluded the ace_767.exe specifically, and I restored it from the quarantine section.  After it still failed, I uninstalled/reinstalled several times with my AV turned completely off.

Like I said, I did the exact same thing with my CS 757 ACE.exe a few weeks ago and it works just fine.  I read the post from CS regarding the AV and it's files then, so I understand the relationship.  I don't know what is going on with the 767.

The good news:  Problem solved.  I just reinstalled everything (again) and ACE is working this time.

The bad news:  I have no idea still what was giving me trouble.  I did nothing I hadn't already done. Hopefully the issue doesn't return.

But for now, I will enjoy my brand new 767!  Thank you for your replies.
