Toggle Off Callouts on Paul Tally's Gauge

I noticed the readme says this is available, and there seem to be sound on-off icons, but I haven't figured out how this work. Even if there was a =1 / 0 toggle to change in a file that would be good. I want the data, but I don't always want the callouts when I'm using MCE. Thanks!

Is a "speaker" looking icon added to the SimIcons panel? If it is, clicking on that should mute the call-outs sound (Yellow = Call-outs ON. White = Call-outs OFF -  I'm not sure if the colour codes are included in the add-on for the L-1011).

Notes. There is an icon like the one I describe on the 727 v2.7 for FSX/SE/P3D3, and Call-outs come included with the 727 v2.7 installer.

Thanks, but I'm still at a loss. Maybe you can spot something. Here are my relevant panel config changes (plus title added):

[Window01]
...
ident=11001
gauge00=animation!icons,0,0,72,96
gauge01=..\..\CS_L-1011-1\panel\V-One!v1_Icon, 0, 96, 48, 32

[Window06]
...
ident=10050
gauge00=..\..\CS_L-1011-1\panel\V-One!DataCard, 0,0,188,252

[VCockpit01]
...
gauge21=../../CS_L-1011-1/panel/civa!general,1,1
gauge22=update!main, 0, 0, 1, 1
gauge23=..\..\CS_L-1011-1\panel\V-One!V-One,  0,0,1,1
gauge24=..\..\CS_L-1011-1\panel\V-One!altcallouts_CS_L-1011,  0,0,1,1

The only changes from the readme are adding -1 where necessary to L1011 to reflect the changed folder. Otherwise just copy-and-paste. Everything works fine except for not finding the SimIcon additions. I get a ding sound check on the V-One panel, everything is calculated and displayed properly, and the callouts happen as expected.

Your panel entries look fine, so obvuiously there isn't a way to mute the callouts.  Sad

Perhaps not the most elegant solution, but removing the V-one sound folder didn't seem to break anything. I can always put it back.  Smiley

Yeah. Removing, or changing the name of the V-One sound folder is certainly one way of doing  it. Wink Grin
