Unable to reinstall.

It's me, you can all relax now Smiley
Can't get my L1011 to reinstall on a new computer. I've done everything necessary to reinstall, antivirus is off including real time protection and firewall. When trying to install online from a fresh download I receive the following (Image 001.jpg) after entering the order no.
When trying to do an offline activation after receiving and entering the product code I get just a red error message at the top of the screen. I've tried these steps a half dozen times, shutting down and restarting etc. and nothing seems to work.

Yep, tried all of the above several times Markoz. It always activated before after simply entering the order number. The only difference is a fresh install of win10 instead of an upgrade from win 7.
I've even tried installing a number of the older NET frameworks but no joy.

I've done everything. I'd show screenies of the entire process I go through except the board won't let me post images. I've turned off every antivirus setting including real time protection.
I even turn off the firewall.
When I try and activate online I get the message:

Error12: Internal server error. Please exit the installer, restart your computer and try again. If the error persists Captain Sim server might be experiencing technical difficulties...etc.
If the error persists please try the following...and then it gives the options to try again or try a manual offline activation.
When I try a manual offline activation using the generated 'code_l111' file and enter it it returns me to the same screen but with a red 'Error#' message at the top....with no number after it.
If I'm doing anything incorrectly I sure can't figure out what it is.

I don't know if CS uses any sort of online check when you install, but I learned the hard way that my Windows Security features required me to turn off all the browser security, too, which is separate from Defender and Firewall and anything else.

Anyway, something to know in case this happens with something else.

Thanks for the suggestion Tim, but no go again. I even try to generate a system test to send in to Captain Sim but it doesn't generate a code file.
Install always worked without a hitch before, even on a new system.
I demand a refund!  Grin
