Anyone to confirm that issue pls?
I discovered and filed this bug, including the cause, on July 10th.
https://www.captainsim.org/forum/csf.pl?num=1588034733/allGood evening,
My flight simulator is Prepar3D Version: 4.5.14.34698
CS 767 II VERSION 0.99
Summary: New issue starting with version .99. APU does not stay running when loading a saved state in the MCDU which is supposed to have a running APU.
Detail:
1) If the APU is not currently running, and a saved state is loaded in the MCDU which instructs the APU to be running, APU will initially be running but then APU goes through shutdown sequence and will not start again until it finishes its shutdown sequence.
This impacts all previously saved custom states whereby the APU is supposed to be running.
This also impacts the basic saved state named ON APU.CFG which ships with the CS 767 II.
2) If the APU is currently running, and a saved state is loaded in the MCDU which instructs the APU to be running, APU will continue running.
The reason this seems to be happening is because 2 new panel state values seem to have been to build .99:
apu_shdwnSignal=0
apu_shdwnTimer=0, 0
If the 2 new panel state values above do not exist in a saved panel state, then the APU is enters a shutdown sequence.
If the 2 new panel state values above do exist in a saved panel state, then the APU is prevented from entering a shutdown sequence and therefore the APU remains running.
I'm submitting this as a bug because the ON APU.CFG basic panel state is technically broken as of build .99.
Thank you,
Jas
