maybe you didnt understand

the fs4 irony comparison is that because the Garmins are so big in a simulator Glass Cockpit panel (not the real life cockpit) you end up staring at the graphics inside the Garmin which resemble fs4 graphics

please captain sim please do the 707 for the new sim or V4 of P3d. Ill settle for the -300 but if an expansion of the other models came as well that would be a "Shut up and take my money" situation. Would also love an INS like in the L-1011.  Cheesy Grin Cheesy

+1. MSFS is a modernized platform with a modernized engine. I think this is a way forward CS should look into more.

But then again I'm just a lowly customer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I own the CS 757 and 777 for FSX (and still fly them from time-to-time), and I'll happily buy them again for MSFS when/if released!

For now, in terms of complex aircraft add-on developent, we do not see any MSFS2020.
All we see is MS Flight 2.
We'll reconsider as soon as we get all proper development tools.

Capt Sim. I concur. Most folk have no idea of how complex a sim model is just to get the gauges operative now we supposedly have a new type of coded ESP engine that will need to be considered and understood and if possible worked with. My intial assessment is that there will need to be a enormous rework of a lot of guages to make them work in MSFS2020 - just like the issue of from FSX to P3DV5.

I also agree with your assessment that the initial release is a worked of Microsoft Flight. Look it has a lot of potential but not just yet. I am buying a new high level PC and will then think about it maybe when they get to MSFS 2.0 perhaps.

This is disappointing but not unexpected. I don’t mean I’m disappointed in Captain Sim. I’ve found other things to do with my time, but the latest release got me thinking. I won’t be diving in to fly a Cessna 172 over my house. I can go to the local airport and do that a lot cheaper! What I am semi-motivated to do is to use this as an excuse to buy a monster gaming laptop that might run FSX better and look for the treasure map to the location of the buried chest containing all my Captain Sim download codes.

Tim - precisely my approach new rig for FSX and maybe look at P3D but wait I reckon with a high level gaming style PC FSX will be pretty amazing anyway, it is darn good now and I am severely restricted by my old GPU.

Hi Captainsim
I am acrivating this post since searched and didnt find any similar topic. I remember there were many topics asking this in late 2020 but reckon they were deleted

What is CS position regarding the new sim platform MSFS2020 ?

Or put it another way: What is CS regarding future?
Is CS just a management of current stock releases with no further plans?

I havent heard anymore of new works in mind, it looks (to me) that original developers have moved on, retired, died, a silence that sads me.

All CS intervention is about support for existing addons (which are given by user themselves) or of site purchase issues

Is there manpower to program the great Boeing classic jets from scratch for the new sim or are there any releases in the table for existing platforms.

In short: is CS alive?
