Crash To Desktop issues are very PC-specific and difficult to replicate, so please provide at least the following info:

1. Your system specs.

2. Full simulator version (e.g. P3D 4.4.16.27077) and CS product version (e.g. 1.402)

3. Full list of installed add-ons.

4. Screenshot or a text copy of the full error message if any.

5. How long was the flight before the CTD?

6. Position/flight stage at the CTD? (e.g. climbing, crossing FL200)

7. What was the last thing you did (e.g. turned smth ON/OFF, used the sim menu etc) before CTD?

8. After the CTD, try to replicate the situation and SAVE the scenario - press ;

9. ZIP all 3 files of the saved scenario:
xxxxx.fxml
xxxxx.cs.config
xxxxx.wx
(located in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files\  folder)

10. Attach the ZIP archive to your post.

Thank you.

Good morning,

New repeatable CTD Sad

My flight simulator is Prepar3D Version: 4.5.14.34698
CS 767 II VERSION 0.99

1. Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz, 1 socket, 6 cores, 12 logical processors, 16GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1070, Game Ready Driver Version 451.67

2. My flight simulator is Prepar3D Version: 4.5.14.34698

3. Full list of installed add-ons: FsDreamTeam KDFW. Others available upon request.

4. Video capture of crash included in .zip file

5. How long was the flight before the CTD? CTD happens pre-flight programming MCDU before pushing back from the gate.

6. Position/flight stage at the CTD? pre-flight

7. What was the last thing you did (e.g. turned smth ON/OFF, used the sim menu etc) before CTD? The crash occurs when entering data in the PERF page. Reserve fuel 8, right click ZFW, CRZ 200, CI 80, and then the CTD occurs when right clicking CRZ CG %. I've repeated this sequence 4 times all with the same outcome.

Video file upload size was too large for your servers so I have to post it here:

I tried many variations in the pre-flight (different gate, different fuel amount, different startup config) all resulted in a CTD. However, if I didn't choose the KING7.SPS/18L SID and instead just chose a direct route to SPS, I got no CTD. However, after that then I re-chose the KING7.SPS/18L SID and whammo CTD. It would appear to have something to do with the KING7.SPS/18L SID.

Thank you for the comprehensive report!
Please try this hotfix 0991. It should be installed over version 0990.

I installed the patch and went through the process a few times with both the CS house livery as well as my Delta livery and there was no Crash To Desktop (CTD) so I think your csy763_0991.exe resolved the issue. This is good. Thank you.

Before patching, I ran into another CTD instance which was very similar to the above except different airport/flight plan which cause a CTD twice. This time the flight plan was KMSY/11 GCV PAYTN SHYRE HOBTT2 27L/KATL. The problem appeared to be with the SHYRE.HOBTT2 arrival. So I reloaded my simulator went through pre flight again, and this time did not load the SHYRE.HOBTT2 arrival. Instead I started inputting the arrival waypoints manually... SHYRE FRDDO BLLBO BGGNS and by the time I got to BGGNS, the simulator froze for about 10 seconds and I got a CTD. After installing the patch above I tried this flight again by using the STAR and this time no CTD so I think the patch fixed this CTD issue as well. They were probably related. Very similar in nature.

If you would be so kind as to roll the csy763_0991.exe patch into whatever the next branch/release is, I'd very much appreciate it. CTDs are a killer in flight simming.

Thank you,
Jason Boche

Hey there, sorry I've little information to go off.

Having a CTD issue, even a PC crash.

Running the CS767 is causing P3d v5.1 to hang, which eventually causes the pc to hang resulting in a hard shutdown.

The only error I have found in the 5/6 times of loading into the 767 is an error relating to the Facilities.dll.

I am running version 1.0.0.0

Spawning in is fine but as soon as I change to outside view the sim will Not Respond followed by a full computer hang/freeze.

Event Viewer is hit and miss but majority of the errors are KERNELBASE.DLL.
