Yes, they are broken on a winglet variant.
Already fixed for the next update.

They are also double flashing like an Airbus on the non winglet model, as well as not being able to see them unless your camera is at a very strange view.

A default camera or an add-on?

We'd like to see a video of that issue, and any default airplane video with strobes working fine in the same conditions pls.

Sorry, I miss read that, i thought you meant default view but anyway here is a default aircraft with their strobes working fine with both chaseplane and default spot view, no weird angles needed.

Thanks,
Probably because the default strobes are static and attached via aircraft.cfg, while the 767 ones are attached to an animated 3D model.
Pls try to replace the 767 strobes fx (cs767_stbL,R.fx) with any default strobe fx file.

A default strobe effect file should be copied and renamed to
cs767_stbL.fx
cs767_stbR.fx

I worked out how to do that but still get a double airbus strobe effect and the one I switched it too works fine but doesn't reflect off the ground at night.

Right, because it's just a default fx for test purposes.

Quote:
and the one I switched it too works fine but doesn't reflect off the ground at night.

I bet the ground reflection will re-appear at any random moment.
Anyways, it's just a 1001-st sample of the P3D (FS2002 to be exact) glitchy fx engine.
Now back to you original question:

not being able to see them unless your camera is at a very strange view.

May we see a video of the DEFAULT fx working without that issue pls?

Here you go, default strobes visible from all angles around the aircraft...no weird view needed to be visible.

Thanks
Just 5 strobe blinks for the 32sec video = 1 blink per 6sec, means at least a half of blinks were droped. That's just proves my point: same good old MSFS fx engine, glitchy as hell.

Yup the fx engine is crap lol. So I guess there is really nothing we can do unless you guys created your own custom fx file. Thanks for helping look into this!

Exactly.

No, unless LM fixes the fx engine.
All CS fx files (except the v5 strobe test file) are custom long ago.
